In November last year, the IBD approved the establishment of a task group to gather data and propose actions that could help reduce harassment and other inappropriate behaviours within Mensa.

With great sadness, we announce that Dr Abbie Salny, Honorary President Emeritus of Mensa International, former International Supervisory Psychologist, and one of the people whose work and influence over many decades made Mensa what it is today, has passed away at the age of 96

Congratulations to Mensa Taiwan (Chinese Taipei)! 

We are delighted to announce the wonderful news that our Executive Committee has formally awarded Provisional National Mensa (PNM) status to Mensa Taiwan!

Three members of Mensa in Ireland have opened an online school in response to the measures being taken to combat the Covid 19 crisis.

I can report another wonderful achievement: we will extend the IBD table by one chair. After being a Provisional Mensa for quite a long time, Mensa Mexico has achieved Full National Status!

I am delighted to announce that the Mensa family has a new member. Please welcome and embrace Mensa Peru - a new colour on the colourful palette of our society!

After many years of being an Emerging Mensa, Mensa India has made considerable progress in several fields, and has become a Provisional Mensa (PNM). Moreover, it is aiming to become a Full Mensa with a well-deserved seat at the IBD table in the near future.
